Prokofiev Album(BNlink)
The beauty of "sibling harmony" is here in a new album featuring brother and sister, violinist Gil Shaham and pianist Orli Shaham, in Prokofiev: Works for Violin and Piano. With two extraordinary sonatas for violin and piano, available on Canary Classics in association with Vanguard Classics, this is the first recording by the two Shaham's together since Deutsche Grammophon released their Dvorak for Two to great acclaim in 1997.

Essential Plácido Domingo(BNlink)
A magnificently versatile voice, that has enchanted millions for over 3 decades. He is a nine time Grammy Award winner. Placido Domingo continues to be one of the most recognizable and revered performers in classical music. Now Sony Classical and Legacy Recordings are proud to present The Essential Placido Domingo. The Essential Placido Domingo is a 34 track collection of many of Placido's most personal and important recordings.

Kremerland (Gidon Kremer / Kremerata Baltica)...Product Link on Barnes & Noble.com.
The first recording of Gidon Kremer’s Kremerata Baltica to appear on Deutsche Grammophon, will be released in October (CD 474 8012) to coincide with Gidon Kremer’s tours of Japan and the US. Look forward to a zany cover (a map of Kremerland) with the names of composers and features that appear on the CD. The music is a wide-ranging selection of modern Baltic and Russian composers, with amusing takes on Liszt, Mozart, and a hilarious encore, where Kremerata Baltica reveal their vocal talents as well.

Handel (Link to Barnes and Noble)
Renée Fleming is no newcomer to Handel, having starred in an acclaimed recording of Alcina, but it's still a treat to hear her creamy soprano lavished on a program of the composer's exquisite, tuneful arias. Those who swear by the pure, almost ascetic approach taken by Baroque specialists may be shocked by the richness of Fleming's voice.

HUMMEL Piano Concerto (Link to Barnes & Noble),
The earliest of Hummel’s mature piano concertos, written in 1809, the year of Beethoven’s Emperor Concerto, is coupled with two semi-concertos never previously recorded, each labelled Rondo brillant.

Rosary Sonatas (link to Amazon) ...Violinist Andrew Manze and continuo player Richard Egarr (alternating between organ and harpsichord)
Biber was the greatest violin virtuoso of his age and his set of Rosary Sonatas, probably published in the mid-1670s, is an exploration of every aspect of his instrument's technique and the harmonic possibilities of different violin tunings; each of the 15 sonatas tunes the instrument in a different way.

GOODALL'S 1971 BRUCKNER 7TH, ALONG WITH A NICE FILL-UP OF WAGNER MASTERSINGERS OVERTURE. FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO THINK CELIBIDACHE IS THE GREATEST OF BRUCKNER CONDUCTORS, YOU SHOULD GIVE THIS A TRY
