Good to hear from you. To answer your questions. Paul Shields and I were both announcer type DJ's when WBAL was playing sweeps of Beautiful Music on AM and classical on FM (Bob Benson) Everything including TV came out of the North Charles Street building. I did not go to TV Hill. Yes WCBM moved in after this. I also worked with Perry Andrews and Molly Martin at that time.
I worked with Bill Rock on WITH-FM when they needed relief. AM was heavy on R&R. must have been around 1962. Sure you can copy the MM photo credit racampbell.com if you want was from 1966.
Regards,
RACampbell

I recognize all the names but Paul Shields. Was he a newsperson? I don't remember that name as a deejay. Of course, I didn't listen to WBAL much, I was into Top Forty. That was the station that my father listened to along with WFBR.so of course I have heard Perry Andrews and Jay Grayson on the radio. I think Perry Andrews was the morning personality from about 1957-67? Jay Grayson was the afternoon personality for years at WBAL and may have stayed into the 80's. However, time does get away and maybe he left WBAL in the 70's. I just don't remember, Also, I think I remember him being on some TV show that might have been on from noon to one, You must have worked at WBAL before they moved to Television Hill? Were they located around 26th Street and Charles where the WCBM studios were later located?
When did you work at WITH? Was this before their shift to Middle of the Road or after? Of course, they later shifted back to Top Forty. Possibly at WITH you worked with Bob Foster, Jay Neely, Buddy McGregor, Bob Adams or Danny Sheelds. Maybe also Jack Gale, but he left before the shift to Middle of the Road.
